Proliant Dl360e gen8 abrupt shut down for NIC Interface
Hi,
We have a Oracle RAC deployment(on OEL 6.4) with two nodes(Proliant Dl360e gen8) connected each other through private LAN through a CISCO mananaged switch.
Recently we have observed that any status change(up/down/freeze) in the Private LAN NIC causes one of the node(standby node) to reboot abruptly.Later we connected the two nodes directly through ethernet cable bypassing the switch and after a while one of the standby node got rebooted abruptly.
We still do not understand the root cause of the problem and looking for some input from this forum.

The provided details are insufficient to isolate any hardware specific issues.
If the server is under Active Warranty/Carepack/Contract then kindly log a case using HPE Support Case Manager and share the relavent logs (AHS) for deep dive analysis.
