[Proliant G5] Rail kit compatibility
Hi all,
Recently I acquired 3 DL180 G5 Proliant, but getting hard time to find rail kits for this model. I've been searching for operating/maintenance manual as well quick specs for the rails appliable, and yet hard to find some. Looking further, I've found some models which part number says "G5/G6" of such rails, but the original server factory being sometimes DL320 G5/G5p, DL180 G6, DL160 G5. So, how can I check real compatiblity between models and generations for rail kits and other mechanical parts ? Are G5 compartible with G4 or G6 ? Depends on server factory, family and generation ?
Manuals and quick specs doesn't help much, compared to other brands and manufacturers.
Cheers !
