Proliant GL145 G3 Fedora Installation
I have 8 of the servers I need to get a Fedora distro installed on. I have tried 6 and 7. FC6 cannot be installed in graphical mode but will in text mode. However, it will not support a resolution above 640x480.
Fedora 7 fails to install because the Anaconda installer fails to recognize the DVD drive once started. I am attempting an FTP install but having zero luck there.
Advice??

Re: Proliant GL145 G3 Fedora Installation
Hi,
It would be useful to see exactly what errors you're getting when trying to install...
Cheers,
Rob
P.S. I assume you mean DL145 G3 rather than GL145...

Hello Rocky,
>> will not support a resolution above 640x480
Supported Resolutions:
- 800 x 600 at 24 bpp
- 1024 x 768 at 16 bpp
Try set to correct "bpp" as above after the OS has been installed.
Thanks
