Proliant ML 110 G7, much too loud

Delivered an ML 110 G7 a few days ago. Like the others I sold, it's much too noisy! I did all I could (new BIOS, new ILO-Software, reseating the fans) but it's still noisy. What has to happen that nudges HP to release a new BIOS to stop this? In the specs it says "27.7 dB(A)". In reality it's more like 60 dB(A). Unacceptable for my customer, as this server sits in a doctor's office.

Hi,

I'm about to open same kind of threat here. I bought this server for home usage and it's in my home office. The noise of this device is terrible and there's no way of getting it silent. Did you have any success so far? I' shortly before to cut the fanblades of enclousure fan of just to get that thing silent. I don' know another way around this.
