Proliant ML 150
I bought two Proliant ML 150 with no operating system installed on them.
When I try to install windows server 2003. the insallation wizard doesn't see the hard disk.
This is happening on both servers so I don't think the hard disk is deffective. most problably
there is some software/driver that I need to install for the raid controller.
each of the server contains one hard disk.
below is the configuration of the servers:
HP ML150G3 1P Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5310 Processor (1.6 GHz, 80 Watts, 1066 FSB), 2x512MB PC2-5300, 1x160G HP-SATA HDD, DVD R/RW

Re: Proliant ML 150
Hi, Windows 2003 does not have the driver for the SATA RAID controller on this server, you must integrate it on the CD or provide it in a diskette at the begining of the installation.
Another possibility is disabling SATA RAID (setting the controller to compatible mode on BIOS), install on one disk, add the driver manually to Windows, then reboot and enable RAID.
The driver is:

Re: Proliant ML 150
hi
very common issue Jad tabet just do a research on this forum something like: nlite you will get a lot of results
I recommend you these two and yes it is the same procedure as ML140 G3 if your ML150 G3 has SATA Controller (because also there are SAS Controller for that model)
