Proliant ML 350G4 won't start

I have a Proliant ML350G4 that won't start. The problems started when the server did an unplanned shut down this afternoon.
Presently, when the power cords are connected the power light turn solid amber, all system LED's are off.
When I depress the power button, the internal health LED on the front panel changes to red, and the sytem overtemp light (8 in the manual) turns to amber. The powersupply indicator light turns green and the processor 1 fan status light turns amber. The system will power up briefly, then halt and the lights will cycle off. After a few seconds the system will attempt to restart with the same result.
Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Re: Proliant ML 350G4 won't start

First, look for loose connections with the fans or fan health LED symptoms to indecate the primary fan is dead. If you had an overheat, you may have toasted the processor power module
Enjoy!
