Proliant ML

Gurus

I have a Proliant ML server that reboots all the time, the problem is that while trying to get some info on to what the problem could be , nothing shows on the event Viewer that can help me determinate what the problem was and why the server shut down. the most I can get is a 6008 stating the server shut down unexpected , so is there any other place or tool that will log for me what the problem was that force the server to shut down?

is free tool the better

Thanks a bunch Gurus for any help

Re: Proliant ML

Hi,

You can check the:

IML log

Make sure the server us running with the latest bios and firmware

Disable ASR in RBSU

You can try bringing the server to minimum configuration to rule out any hardware causing the reboot as the reboot could be due to anything like power, CPU, Memory, System Board, PCI, FANs, etc...

For more assistance please refer tp HP guided troubleshooting from the following link,

Please select the model of your server
