I have a problem with my internal DAT 72 USB,
It worked one year without any problems but now my backup procedure works some times ...

The error is :
Erreur 4027: Expiration de délai du dispositif
HP C7438A (Serial Number HU10818N4W)

I don't understand, I cleanning, buying some new tape ... but nothing to do,

Someone can help me ?

quite simple seen it many times if this is the complete message below the dat 72 is failing dying

Error 4027: Device timeout

A timeout occurred while communicating with the device. Please check the device and connections.
sorry for the bad news but never seen one of these sorted in labs i always tracked it down to faulty io in the dat
