Proliant ML110

Client has a Proliant Ml110 G2 Storage Server. This server has only one 32GB disk drive which is completely used up. Not being familiar with this model, I want to validate what I believe I can do. I either want to install a larger C drive replacing the current drive. Or, I want to add an additional drive making it the D drive. I am pretty sure I can do the first but not as sure I can do the second. Can someone give me assistance in support of my plan or give me a different path. Thank You.

Re: Proliant ML110

Hi,
Proliant ML110 G2 Storage Server aka NAS 500s
is the entry level storage solution from HP and I'm afraid factory configuration could not be changed in it. Therefore current physical hard drive could not be enlarged or additional hard drive could not be installed in it
Check the specification for this product.

This server ships in three models 320 GB, 640GB and 1TB.
I believe you tried to mention 320 GB instead of 32 GB in your question.

Re: Proliant ML110

In response, I was correct in stating it has a 32GB disk drive. I wish it had a 320GB disk drive since this particular customer would most likely not fill it up for the next six (6) years.

Thanks for your feedback even though it was not what I was hoping for.
