I bought new 2 x HP 2GB DDR PC2700 CL2.5 ECC RAM sticks for my server. Part Num: 413152-581
They do not work in my server. Server turns on but does not go any further. Supposed to be compatible with the server. Is their a way to tell or find out if the memory has Joint Electronic Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) Serial Presence Detect (SPD)? Its the only thing that I do not know about this RAM. Everything else is corect according to the manual. I expected HP memory to work in an HP server.
Thanks for any help.
