Proliant ML150 G3 RAID Configuration Post Motherboard Replacement
I have an ML150 G3 with the following Raid configuration:
Disk 1 RAID Mirror
Disk 2 RAID Mirror
Disk 3 Standalone for backup
My mobo died and has been replaced. I want to recreate the raid mirror without loosing data. Creating a RAID array will not work since I don't have an empty disk. What is the propper proceedure for this? Should I just erase one of the raid disks and rebuild from the other?

Re: Proliant ML150 G3 RAID Configuration Post Motherboard Replacement
The raid configuration is stored on the disks so if you connect the disks to the new system board you should be able to see the same raid configuration as before. The raid disks and data should all be there.
Ensure that you connect the disks in the new system board the same way as in the old system board.
