Proliant ML310 G3 SATA Unix issue

I have a Proliant ML310 G3 that im trying to load SCO Unix 5.0.6 on. The server has a 80GB Sata150 drive. Its the only one on the entire controller. Upon installation the OS doesn't see the disk. It returns an error of cannot find root disk, or something to that effect.

Thanks for any help. I've read every article I've came across with no luck. I can't seem to find any drivers to help with the issue, so I bring my problem here.

http://www.hp.com/servers/manage --> SmartStart --> Support Matrices --> ProLiant Supported OS Matrices --> SCO OpenServer

You will find that only the SCSI models of the ML310G3 are supported on SCO OpenServer 5.
