Proliant ML310 & Adaptec

I have an ML310 and I want to setup the Adaptec 3210s SCSI controller. It does not seem to allow me to use it no matter what I do. I can build a RAID 5 and run 2K setup but then it does not find it. Is there a trick to this or does anyone have an idea?

Thanks

Re: Proliant ML310 & Adaptec

You need to install the driver for it. That RAID card is too new for 2k to have the driver for it. When you boot up on the 2k CD, you need to use the F6 key when it asks if you have any third party devices. Hit f6 and it will ask for the driver in the floppy drive.

The drivers are here:
http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/drivers_by_product.html?sess=no&language=English+US&cat=/Product/ASR-3210S

Those are the latest from Adaptec. They are over a year old, but they have nothing newer.
