Proliant ML310 is it G2? G3? G4?
How do I tell? I'm trying to buy memory but I need to know this information.
Is there a way to know w/out taking it out of production? I really don't want to shut it down and take it out of the server cabinet.
TIA,
db

Use this page to determine that...you will need the part number, this part # is located on the back of the server where the S/N is located...

Hi,
Alternatively use this Warranty Entitlement Lookup page.
http://h50001.www5.hp.com/ewc/EntResultRouter
Select your country and Option (Choose All). Then all that you need to enter is the serial number, you don't need the product number. Once entered click "Get entitlement" and your details will be displayed.
I hope this helps.
