Proliant ML330 Rack Configuration Switch

Hi all,

I need to know the technical reason to modify switch position 3 of switch bank SW1 in server ML300 motherboard when change the configuration from tower to rack.

That will change Thermal zone sensors, however not all Server have that future build in. Standard for most server #3 is designed for that reason.

Rack or Tower Differnt AIR, Tempera.....

P.S.
Probably front Bezel / door or cabling on the back, or Rack Type closed or Open make sense to have that future.. Some system in old time used same system Board, but it was installed in different models and some Tower or Rack, Airflow was different
