Proliant ML350 G2 Hard Drive Upgrade

I'm trying to upgrade the hard drive to a larger capacity hard drive using Ghost v8. Here's the hardware configuration.

Proliant ML350 G2
2GB RAM
36GB SCSI HD
146GB SCSI HD
Server Feature BD w/dual channel wide ultra3 SCSI
Windows 2000 Server

The 36GB drive is on one channel by itself and the 146GB drive is on the other channel by itself. When booting from the Ghost boot disk I get a read error and Ghost freezes. If I disconnect the 146GB drive, Ghost loads and I can see the 36GB drive okay.

I can see the 146GB drive in Win2K and have been able to format it just fine.

Does anyone have suggestions on how I can ghost the smaller drive to the new drive?

I have all the latest updates/patches for the BIOS, SCSI BIOS and O/S.

Thank you in advance!

minmum we can update the BIOS but there is no sure fix for problem in hand.

Just try to have 146Gb hdd connected then boot with ghost and see it recognize the drive or not.

Did you try to swap channels? Connect the 146GB to the first channel and the 36 to the second and see what happens.

Yes, I have swapped the channels and I get the same result. Ghost doesn't seem to like the 146GB HD. I have a system partition on the 146GB HD and can run Compaq Diags from it. No errors detected.
