Proliant ML350 G3 LED lights
Hi,
The company I work for recently bought a new Proliant ML350 G3 Server and I was trying to find out what the 5 LED ligths on the front of it mean. 1 is for the power and one says UID which when you press the button next to it turns the light blue but I cant see anything else happen. There are three other lights one seems to be for a Network and the other 2 look like they have a herat monitor symbol on them. One with a box around it and one with no box. If anyone could explain to me what these lights mean it would be greatly appreciated.
I have 1 more question. How would I set up a paasword to prevent people from getting into the Bios. Thanks for the help.
John

Re: Proliant ML350 G3 LED lights
Hello John,
Here is the descriptions of LEDs on your server in question:
-Power ON/Standby and AC Power Status
-NIC activity
-External Health
-Internal Health
-Unit ID
As for as the Password set up I am sure this option should be in BIOS set up as in all types of system boards.
Regards,
