Still cannot gain access through the system management homepage, but I have succeeded in getting into the ACU. I now have a second logical drive created using a Raid 1 + 0 configuration. So that's finally done:)Thanks to everyone who helped me.
Next question...I can see the new drive in the Computer Management and it's online. How do I make it NTFS and map to it so it becomes available for use? Can't see any formatting options etc.

Go to computer management -> disk management, right click on your new disk with unallocated space and select "create partition".
You will have option to assign drive letter, format disk and etc
