Proliant ML350 G5 System Fan 3 fault

This weekend a red light appeared on the front of the server and the server went into what iLO2 calls [Standby - off]. So I did a little research and learned the red light means there is another light inside the case that tells you what is faulting. The light was lit up on System Fan 3 but looking at the fans all of them appeared to be spinning. I then proceeded to turn off the computer and reboot and the fault goes away and the computer boots up with no problems.

The last thing that changed was I moved the server to an almost full battery backup do you think that could have anything to do with it or could the fan legitimately be going bad?
