Proliant ML350 G6 Poor Video Capture Performance
I'm currently attempting to use the Proliant ML350 G6 servers as video capture computers to monitor the output of various monitors. However, in my tests, I find that the servers often only capture at about half the benchmark rate of the cards. They perform normally under similar resolutions on other workstations, and I've attempted to tweak the server using the low latency guide for the particular series and my own judgment on what may be causing it.
The Proliant ML350 G6 is stock (to my knowledge) aside from two additional drives to the RAID array and the cards I'm using are Epiphan's VGA2USB and VGA2USB LR ( http://www.epiphan.com/products/product.php ), two of each, internalized.
