I got this error in Compaq Integrated Management Log Viewer - Post Error 1720: SMART hard drive detects imminent failure.
Should I be worried? I read from other posts that this could be solved with some new drivers or by replacing bad memory modules? That server has onsite warranty still on so....

Solution
I would read this to mean exactly what it says "imminent drive failure". One of the self tests on this drive in question has failed. I would recommend this drive be replaced as soon as possible. It's possible this could be a false error, but I wouldn't count on it.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Hello Arsi,
Terry is right but I have experienced False error 1720 as well. Just to eliminate the obvious I would update the firmware of the array controller and then apply the M&P patch via SP16373 which can be downloaded from the following link:
