SCSI Port 1 Drive ID 2 has exceeded the following threshold(s)
Pred failure errors
SOLUTION: Please replace this drive when conditions permit.
SCSI Port 1, Drive ID 2 ... S.M.A.R.T. predictive failure errors have been
detected in the factory Monitor and Performance data. SOLUTION: Please
replace this drive when conditions permit.
SCSI Port 1, Drive ID 2 ... S.M.A.R.T. predictive failure errors have been
detected in the since power Monitor and Performance data. SOLUTION: Please
replace this drive when conditions permit.
Now i was wondering if there is any other way to fix the problem short of having the disk replaced and if there is could some1 point me in the right direction(maybe a link on how to...).
p.s.I have attached ADU log in the post.
Thanx

Re: Proliant ML350G4 array diagnostic utility log help
# Upgrade the Smart Array 641 Controller firmware as preventative maintenance. The firmware is available here:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/storage/us/download/24879.html
# Upgrade the hard drive firmware as preventative maintenance. The firmware is available here:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/storage/us/download/21200.html?jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN
# Replace SCSI ID 1, Drive ID 2. Predictive failures do not require further troubleshooting unless there has been recent firmware fixes.
Please note:
We have a predictive failure here.
So it is always better to replace the hard drive before the other hard drives fail which would result in a data loss.
Call HP for the replacement of the drive
Hope this answers!!!!
