Proliant ML350p Gen8 Fans Run at Full Speed Ocassionally
I have a Proliant ML350p Gen8 server. On occasion, the fans really kick in and run at full speed for about a minute. This has only happened 3 times in the past 4 months or so. Is this normal behavior?

Re: Proliant ML350p Gen8 Fans Run at Full Speed Ocassionally
Greetings!
Allen,
Have you insatlled redundant fans recently? If the fan speed is increasing after installing redendant fans then RBSU Thermal settings has to be changes (Only if this is after installing Redundant Fan). Please let us know.
Regards,
Renji V

No I have not installed fans. The fans in the server are the ones that were originally installed on the server.
