Proliant ML370 Cannot access Bios Setting

How can I get to the BIOS setting in the Proliant ML 370. I have tried using the f10 key and that has not opened the utility. I am trying to start the smart server CD to setup the server by the CD stops after a few seconds of reading and the server just hangs.

What SmartStart are you trying to use?

I am using smart start 5.5 and I am not sure what generation it is. Any idea where I can determine that? The Bios is P17 and I have upgraded it thru the smart start diskette utility thru the latest revision 08-04-2001

I just ran the stsems erase utility 1.69 and inserted the smart start CD 5.5 and rebooted. When the system begins to access the CD-ROM it returns the message "RETRY EL TORITO" Any Suggestions??

Make sure CD ROM Cable Select, Reset Cable, if you do have Integrated Smart array Controller update Firmware to 1.5

Install system Partition, you don't need SS CD if you have F8 and SCU installed
Or you can burn new SS CD 5.5 and Verify if you can boot successfully from W2K or any other
