Proliant ML370 Freezing & Auto Reboot

Problem started with the server just freezing and having to physically push the power button to reboot the server. It has escalated into the server getting a stop error and automatically rebooting.(Event ID 6008, Description: The previous system shutdown at (time) on (date) was unexpected.) When the server comes back up and admin logs in, the server displays a system error in the event log: Event ID: 1003, description: Error Code: 0000000a, Parameter1 00000016, parameter2 d000001b, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 808427e1.

Anyone seen this before? It happens randomly during work hours and after hours.

Re: Proliant ML370 Freezing & Auto Reboot

Sorry for the delay. We ran our re smart start cd last Tuesday and all was looking good until this weekend. Both servers ran great all last week without any crashes, until over the weekend. Both went down multiple times from the same error again. Any ideas??

Re: Proliant ML370 Freezing & Auto Reboot

Have you updated any drivers lately? If so, that could be one cause. Another thing I would do would be to switch out the memory.
