Re: Proliant ML370 Freezing & Auto Reboot

Seeing that these servers use the same NIC as the DL380 G5, have you tried looking in this thread?
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1128223

Have you got PSP 7.80 installed? In that case, try follow the advices on that thread (uninstall agents, or downgrade NIC drivers)

Re: Proliant ML370 Freezing & Auto Reboot

The 7.8 version did not fix our problem. We went a few days after running this and have several crashes over the weekend. We run Panda antivirus and installed a hotfix a couple weeks ago and have not had any problems with freezing and rebooting since. So far, this has solved our problems.

Re: Proliant ML370 Freezing & Auto Reboot

we encountered a similar problem last year (not a proliant though): stop error and reboot almost every night.
trouble was caused by panda driver netfltdi.sys. panda support knew about the problem but couldn't offer a solution except for advising me to remove that file from C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers. so i did and everything went fine until we recently upgraded panda (AdminSecure) to version 4.01.10 (and got back our netfltdi.sys). same procedure as last year.

maybe this solution will do for you...

Re: Proliant ML370 Freezing & Auto Reboot

We had the same issue and it was resolved by updating the symevent files used by Symantec Antivirus. http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/1998092408260848
