Proliant ML370 G2 will not boot, beeps when 2nd processor is removed
I just replaced the motherboard and the power supply. When both cpu's are installed, the server spins the cooling fans for 2 seconds and then goes off, it continues that process every 5 or 10- seconds until I shut the server down.
If I remove the second processor and it's voltage regulator, the server turns on, beeping every 2-3 seconds and never boots.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Re: Proliant ML370 G2 will not boot, beeps when 2nd processor is removed
what is the status of system board leds?
and
The Pentium III Slot 1 processor cannot be down-clocked; therefore, all processors must use the same frequency. Compaq does not support mixing processor frequencies

That what i was pointing in post it is suppose to be factory default no changes need to be done onthat.
Q is:
Is server working with anyone of the processor?
