Proliant ML370 G3, Couldn´t find NLTDR

I have a Proliant ML370 G3, SmartArray 5302/128 2 x 36GB 15K, 2 x 72GB 10k, mirror, 3 months after installation, the server restart without any reason and when it try to start the boot process, display a message "Boot: Couldn´t find NTLDR. Prease insert another disk."

Have you tried reparing OS.
Try using the 2k cd and try to repair it.

Yes i can do this and the system is recovered but, any idea about wath can cause this problem? NTLDR is missing but why?

Hi,

Since you have repared the OS check the iml logs. to check for any error on same date, It might help you out.

I got the ILM file, if i use a text editor, i just can see the message but not the date and time of the event, how can i visualize this file correctly?

Hi,

We need to look for IML Logs. Which is avaible in Survey.txt under C:\compaq\survey\survey.txt
Check for following infomration
Compaq Integrated Management Log
That will tell what we are looing for
