I have several G3's with the 641 Array card and continue to get Temp Disabled - failures. We have tried replacing the battery and eventually it will fail again. We have updated the firmware on the card to the latest version per HP and same issue. We are spending way too much money getting these replaced ever other week. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Have all fans loaded in server (6)and getting no temp violations. Again, this is on multiple servers at different locations accross the country with same issue.
The batteries will charge, then will be fine for a week or so, and then will go back to a failed status and will give an F1 error at post. 2 days later, battery will be fine - then the process begins again! Have replaced batteries.
Contacted HP, apparently this is a issue with firmware. The last release was suppose to fix issue, but in fact did not make it onto the release. Firmware is suppose to be released in January 05 to fix issue with the battery failures.
