Proliant ML370 G3 fan failure

Guys need help on this,
I Have a post error message "Fan Solution Not Sufficient", i already replaced the 3 failed fans with a known good fan, but still don't work.
I also checked the cables, but i seems fine.
What can i do next? Is my systemboard defective?

Re: Proliant ML370 G3 fan failure

any LED close to fans or in the front panel?

The hot-plug fan LED indicates the following conditions:
Green = The fan is operating normally.
Amber = The fan has failed.
Off = The fan is not powered or is not seated.

you have no redundant system fan? redundant system are six fans?

Didn't your momma teach you to say thanks!

Re: Proliant ML370 G3 fan failure

Ok 6 fans are for redundancy.

ok

if you already replace them for new ones

1.try updating System ROM
2. look any message error in IML (Integrated Management Log) and System Management Home Page.

let's see what's going on

Hi Rey!

Sorry, but one way to repair you server - replace MB. Now you probably have MB with
spare part number 290559-001, and you can purchase same, but best choice 316864-001 w/o fun problems.
