Proliant ML370 G5 DVD Swap
We have a HP ML370T05 E5345 SAS HPM US Server 433752-001. We replaced the factory installed readable DVD (16X HP DVD-ROM Drive - Option#: 217053-B21, 408636-001 or 399312-001) with a writable DVD (16X HP DVD+R/RW Half Height - Option#: 383974-B21, 396238-001 or 399415-001). We also jumpered the new drive to match the old drive using Cable Select. The server posts, starts to load windows and then the server Internal System Health flashes red with beeping. When the power to the new DVD is disconnected, the server comes up as normal.
