Proliant ML370 G5 Memory error
Hi all,
I have been given a second hand HP Proliant ML370 G5 server without RAM or HDD. I have installed 2 drives in the front caddies and setup RAID1. I have installed 2 x Kingston 2GB ECC DDR2 667Mhz (FBDIMM Module: 240-Pin, CAS latency: 5-5-5, Module Bandwidth: 5.3GB/s) in slots 1A and 2B. Upon starting the server I get 2 beeps (1 long, then 1 short) and the message:
207-Invalid memory configuration detected.
System Halted!
Have I got the wrong RAM? Is there a problem with how it is configured? Could the motherboard or some other part be faulty? Am I missing the point entirely?
Thanks for your help.
Luke

Thanks. Such a noob error. All fixed now and Windows Server installing happily.
