Proliant ML370 G5 (Model: 417188-421)
Hi to everyone,
Is it possible or not to configure the server with 4 disks in 2 different logical volumes?
I mean, something like the following:
1. 2 disks Raid 1 (To host Windows 2003 SBS)
2. 2 disks Raid 0 (To host SQL Server 2005)
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Re: Proliant ML370 G5 (Model: 417188-421)
according to overview this server has a
HP Smart Array P400/256 MB Controller
it supports (RAID 0/1/1+0/5)
you can do it just use the Array configuration utility
select 2 HDDs and make RAID 1 after select 2 HDDs and make RAID 0
download the ACU guide
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00294139/c00294139.pdf
