Re: Proliant ML370 stuck at boot screen "HP INVENT PROLIANT"
Try setting the CLEAR CMOS switch to ON.(Switch 6 on the maintenance switchpack of the motherboard).
See the lid diagram for the location of this switchpack and what each switch does.
It may just reset things and allow the system to work again.
Power off the server
Set switch 6 to ON
See if it works (or not)
Set switch 6 back to OFF
I hope this helps.

Re: Proliant ML370 stuck at boot screen "HP INVENT PROLIANT"
Steps to clear the nvram
1. Power Off the server
2. Put the Maintance Switch # 6 located on system board to on position. (On server panel you can check for the location of the switch).
3. Power On the server
4. It will display a message "Maintance Switch detected in On postion"
5. Power Off the server.
6. Put back to the original position of #6 and power on the server to check.
Note: Setp #4 may not come in this case as it hangs on the first logo screen. If this will not come then wait for 1 min and then power off the server.

Re: Proliant ML370 stuck at boot screen "HP INVENT PROLIANT"
I did all of that before my original post. It does not help at all. I've finally figured out that second processor is shot. It's currently up and running with one processor with the replacement on it's way.
Thank you again.
