Proliant ML570 G2 stop errors

I have a Proliant ML570 G2 server. The server has the following:

3 1.4 GHZ processors
4GB RAM
2 5302-128 RAID controllers
2 NIC cards

The server will constantly reboot with the following stop error code:

STOP: 0x0000009C (0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0xBE000000, 0x1008081F)

Please help!!!

had you applyed latest patches from Microsoft ? when they start ?

The following factors may cause this error message:
â ¢ System bus errors
â ¢ Memory errors that may include parity or Error Correction Code (ECC) problems
â ¢ Cache errors in the processor or hardware
â ¢ Translation Lookaside Buffers (TLB) errors in the processor
â ¢ Other CPU-vendor specific detected hardware problems

I suggest remove all your processors and use one at a time and check

Which verson of NT do you try to install?
NT4.0 without sp3 does not support 4GB of ram. You have to take out 2GB, install and patch the box and put back the RAM.

I have applied the latest patches from Microsoft. I also updated the bios. The server is running Windows 2000 SP4.

Any error lights on the memory slot boards? How about on the cards? You know it almost sounds like it has to be a memory parity error of some kind. You might try removing memory to see if it boots with far less memory, what is your 4 GB configured in? If it's in sets of say 4x1 GB chips you might be able to drop to 2 GB and try it, then swap those two out and try the other two, to see if you can isolate a chip as the failing part.

I have an ML570 G2 in front of me right now and if you pop open the side panel and look at the memory board, it should have some green status lights for memory, or red if they have failed which would be the first thing I'd check.
