Proliant ML730 /733mhz
Hi is there anyone that can help me solving the next problem?
I am trying to install this server using the smarttart 5.5 cd.
After powering up i get some info about a compaq scsi and that it found one logical drive.
Then i says no bios installed, en it boots from the cd (smartstart 5.5)
If i push esc after the flash screen it reading the cd rom, and starts doing things.
However at one point he starts giving errors.
Saying
FWS2CD already proccessed in config.sys
fws2cd not installed
ASP{ICA manager for dos
unable to find any aic7899
aspicpq.sys installation failed
then it continues:
ASPI cd rom driver for dos version 4.01
error adaptec aspi device driver not availlable
cd rom driver not loaded no valid adaptec host adapter.
And after this nothing more happens.
I used ultimate boot disk and with this i can power up my server, i can use my drive, read aand copy things to and so on.
So it looks to me that the drive in it 3 times a 9.1 raid 5 drives are functioning.
Can somebody help me out so that i can make this server work so that i can put a working os on it??
Thanks in advance and sorry for the misstakes in the english spelling
