Prolient DL380 G2
I have added 2 new 36GB drives to a running RAID5. Windows2000srv disk manager sees the new volume and performed a quick format without any errors. Disk mgr displays a healthy new dynamic volume with 67.8GB free NTFS space. Windows Explorer, however, doesn't see it. What next ? I must admit: it's not rebooted yet. This is a main SQL server and I realy don't need a reeboot right now. Didn't think that it was necesary eather.
