Re: Prolient DL560 G1

Phil, apparently you have DL580 G1 (AFAIK there is no DL560 model)
Unrecoverable Intermodule Bus error most likely related to motherboard hardware failure.
Any hardware changes you did recently (new PCI cards for example)?
I think you need to open hardware call to replace motherboard...
Make sure you have last server firmware before call:

Re: Prolient DL560 G1

Phil- we have many 560G1 servers. some 2-way and a few 4-way. we have seen a few things cause this. the Veritas backup exec agents may need updated, av client may need updated. also, be sure the Firmware and drivers are up to date. run the 7.40B psp cd and FW cd. also, check to see if there are any amber lights lit inside the server which would be indicative of a failing DIMM or proc. here is a link to the quick specs which will tell you what LEDs may be lit inside the server to help narrow it down.

thanks!

Re: Prolient DL560 G1

At least now I know DL560 G1 exists :-)
Interesting why HP stop to make these servers after G1.
