Prolient ML350 G5 - Hard Drive Slots
Hello,
Ordered and received the ML350-G5 with no hard drives that has the hard drive slots on the front.
Stupid Question ... Shouldn't it have came with some type of bezel to install the HD in so it can be slid in the slot? I tried just sliding a SATA HD in but it's loose.

Re: Prolient ML350 G5 - Hard Drive Slots
Not really - All I need to know is, should the system have come with some type of hot swap enclosures to install drives in (or can be purchased separately) or do you have to buy a special, more expensive, HP hot-swap hard drive.

Re: Prolient ML350 G5 - Hard Drive Slots
Hi DF
no these servers usually dont come with HDD's if you check the spec's on all ml350 g5's im pretty shure none of them come with. and yes it is a special hot swappable drive you would use not an ordinarry SATA drive. not shure you can buy the drive assembly seperate. hope this helps
