Qlogic HBA card for DL 380 G4 (single) server

Hi,

I am looking for a Qlogic HBA card for my server which is DL 380 G4 server. I have RHAS 4 (Update 4) installed on it.

Could someone tell me which HBA card would suit my need? I would like to have the model name which will allow me to order it.

My firmware version is 3.03.20 IPX.

Hi,

I assume that you mean Fibre Channel HBA...

You'll find information on the various cards here:

Which one you need will depend on the rest of your SAN infrastructure, type of switches etc.

Thanks a lot for the information Rob. However, Can you send me something related with QLogic? I am asking for it since it will be easier for me to get the HBA card from QLogic as compare to HP.

Hi,

Take a look at this document from Qlogic's website:

http://www.qlogic.com/documents/datasheets/products_data/decoder_ring.pdf

This details the HP (and other) part numbers with the QLogic equivalent.

For example, the FCA2214 is a QLA2340.
