QuickFind

We have received the latest quickfind cd-rom collection february 2002. Only on the CD's is no executable to execute, or install.
Where can we find the program so that we can lookup information on the quickfind CD's.

Re: QuickFind

Look for a file called QFSETUP.EXE.

Re: QuickFind

When you are in the "Total Information manager" you need to go to "Collection" and then Add/Remove. Click Find All and then go to the drive letter that has your Quickfind cd. Highlight in on the left and move it to the right.

Re: QuickFind

Thanks for your reply Mark.
However the problem is that I cannot find out how to install the "Total information Manager"
NONE of the 3 disks provided last November nor the 5 disks provided in Feb has any executable on them.
The documentation supplied ( on the disk cover) suggests going to www.compaq.com/CAS-Catalog/quickfind.html for information on how to obtain the viewer.............. but there is no information there................
I have a colleague who has the same problem he was sent the same disks as me !!!!
I have been using the old quickfind for some time now...and still am as I can' seem to @break into' the new information set.
Surely I'm not the only one with this problem................

All I need is the TIM program..... Is it possible they have left a disk out of the set ??

Anyone I have been able to talk to out of my Compaq contacts have never even heard of quickfind...........
Why is it so difficult ?????

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ...............................

Re: QuickFind

Do you have an old version of quickfind? Look for a cd called TIM Viewer
Kit.
If not then please give me your e-mail address please. Also does this address have any size restrictions?

Re: QuickFind

I also have the same problem as Iescave, I have the new November CDs of Quickfind 2000 but have no way of viewing them. Has anyone found the correct link for the Quickfind viewer download?
Thanks,
Gareth
