Thank you all and especially Vijay, you legend!
I did the following to resolve the problem even with multiple arrays on the same controller:
Just unplug the other drives (part of other arrays attached to the same smart array controller), which you swap the disks on array A {SYSTEM DRIVE]}.
It works like a treat just as it would work with one array on the controller.
What is ACR, different to ACU?
Case closed!
