RAID 1 on ML 370

I have a simple question. How to enter into BIOS setup and where can we configure raid 1 for 2 scsi drives I have. Thanks

this is G4. Do I need a firmware upgrade right out of the box? And I am tyring to use RAID with embedded scsi u320 onboard controller. Any help is very appreciated

Hi Tayyabbutt,

To access RBSU (system BIOS setup), press the F9 key during power up when prompted in the upper right corner of the screen.

Before installing an operating system, you can use the ORCA utility to create the first logical drive, assign RAID levels, and establish online spare configurations.
To change any ORCA default settings and override the auto-configuration process, press the F8 key when prompted.

You can't configure any RAID with "embedded scsi u320 onboard controller". RAID is possible with SmartArray controllers only (SA641, SA642, SA6402, SA6404). During the POST press F8 when "SmartArray controller..." message appear to configure RAID. There are no option to configure RAID with RBSU (F9).
