RAID 1 on ML115
Hi,
Before i set the server up can anyone tell me the best way to set up raid 1 on ml 115?
Plug the extra disk in and then switch it on, configure from bios and then proceed to install win 2003 and then hit f6 to install the raid driver from floppy and continue with os install.
Or install as normal on 1 hard drive, install the raid driver from cd, shutdown, plug 2nd disk in and restart, configure the bios for raid entry and retstart and then raid 1 will be configured and windows 2003 will be mirrored and then boot up???
Any help apprteciated as i'm used to raid 5.

Re: RAID 1 on ML115
the first option
"Plug the extra disk in and then switch it on, configure from bios and then proceed to install win 2003 and then hit f6 to install the raid driver from floppy and continue with os install."
insert HDD create the array level pressing F8 when the controller is recognized
once the RAID is created go ahead installing windows with F6
