RAID 10 Configuration on MSA 2000 G3

I have 8 disks installed in MSA2312fc, which each have a capacity of 600GB and configured RAID 10. when I choose the 8 disks for RAID 10 result showed 1,2TB.Supposed to be 2.4 TB

MSA show the configuration RAID 10
RAID1-1 : 2 Disk
RAID1-2 : 2 Disk
Spare : 4 Disk

There is a solution to this case?

Thank's & Peace

Re: RAID 10 Configuration on MSA 2000 G3

This looks like you have 4 disks configured, this means the capacity of 2 disk drives = 1.2TB.

But why 4 spare disks?

The array did what you have configured.

Hope this helps!

Re: RAID 10 Configuration on MSA 2000 G3

Delete the spares and add them to the vdisk.

Hope this helps!

When you create them I believe there is this option about sub-disk or sub-spare (or something like that) - this can influence how many spares are assigned.
