Hello,
We have a proliant 350 G with a Smart Array 641 controller. We currently have 3 drives on a RAID 5. I would like to add 2 more drives and have a RAID 1 for the 2 new drives. I know this is possible. I just am not sure if I need an additional controller to set up the 2 new drives on a RAID 1. Or will I be able to add the 2 new drives to the exisiting controller and make it a RAID 1 and coexist with the current RAID 5 setting on the remaining drives. Thank you in advance for your help.
Best Regards
Vivek
