RAID 5 in "Interim Recovery"
Hi,
We have a Proliant server and a disk has gone in the Raid 5. The HP array utility has marked the Raid as "Interim Recovery".
The server hosts MS Exchange and this frequently is stopping as a service with only a reboot of the server a way to get it going again - unfortunately this seems to be another issue to the RAID issue.
Advice requested, please, on whether or not the server can be restarted in this state and will come back up to Windows Server post reboot.
Thanks

Re: RAID 5 in "Interim Recovery"
The answer to this, thankfully, was yes, we could reboot it and it did come back up.
Great RAID features, HP.
