RAID 5 on ProLiant ML350 G5 Entry

Hi there,

I need to upgrade one of my servers (ProLiant ML350 G5 Entry) to support RAID5.
Current configuration support only RAID1/0.
The server has Smart Array E200i installed and based on:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12460_na/12460_na.html I need to purchase and install 351580-B21 card.
Is that correct?

Also anyone has experience of migrating RAID1+0 to RAID5?
I'm guessing I'll have to backup all data, reconfigure drives and restore data?

That's right.

You will need to backup all data, just in case. If you read the "Online management features" on the same URL you will see "Online RAID level migration". No need to reconfigure the disks and restore the data.
