RAID 5
When trying to configure raid 5 on an ML370 I am geting messages about the performance of auto reliability monitoring. Is this a hardware error or a problem with raid 5.
Thanks

Re: RAID 5
Actually, neither. When the system is initially configured, the system does a background parity and reliability check (Dynamic Sector Repairing)--depending on the configuration it could take several hours. Until then, the performace accelerator will be disabled, but after that the system will be at fully capability.

Re: RAID 5
Background parity monitoring can take up to 24 hours after installation (depending on network load, etc).
