RAID ADG for Smart Array P400?

Which P400 can support RAID ADG?

P400 w/ 256MB BBWC, P400 w/ 512MB BBWC or both?

Re: RAID ADG for Smart Array P400?

* Modular, easy-to-upgrade design lets you optimize performance by upgrading from 40-bit 256MB cache to 72-bit 512MB battery-backed write cache (BBWC).

* Addition of the battery backed cache upgrade enables BBWC, RAID 6 with ADG, array expansion, logical drive extension, RAID migration, and stripe size migration.

Does it means that P400/256MB has no BBWC and no RAID ADG function unless upgraded to 512MB BBWC?

It certainly appears that way but in the "Upgrade Options" section there is a BBWC upgrade and it is separate than the 512MB-BBWC upgrade.

This is a battery kit for the 256MB memory option.

Do you have the P400 already or are you thinking of buying one? What exactly you are trying to do? The P410 is a better option.
